Office of Health Services
Office of Health Services has been established on each campus, staffed by university doctors and nurses whose duties include monitoring the general health of the students and providing, periodic health checkup, a referral to medical institution, and firstaid treatment. University doctors are available for free consultation and examinations 1-2 days a week on each campus.
Student Counseling Rooms
The Student Counseling Rooms are located in each campus so that students can discuss any worries they have about their student life. Specialist counselors and psychotherapists are on hand to respond with strict confidentiality to their problems or concerns relating to studies, personal relationships, health and other concerns, etc.
Career Development Center
The Career Development Center assists with all aspects of job hunting. In addition to finding companies and collecting and providing job information, we offer support tailored to every student’s wishes through career guidance, various courses, and individual consultations. You can talk to us not only about employment at regular companies but also about civil service examinations.
Moreover, we offer international students who want to work in Japan basic knowledge about job hunting and guidance regarding their status of residence after graduation in cooperation with the International Center and the Employment Service Center for Foreigners. We support them so that they can understand the differences in systems and cultures as well as engage in activities with confidence.
Our support begins in earnest from the third year, involving courses for internships and recruitment selection using the latest employment information. From February onward, thirdyears and master’s program first-years can attend joint company information sessions hosted by the university, where a total of 600 organizations participate.
Thanks to such attentive support tailored to year of study and individual needs, we have been able to keep the university’s employment rate at over 97%.
Each campus has a center, accessible for everyone regardless of year of study. Teaching and other staff do their best to support students in their career choices.
