During the rst class, we will decide together 12 topics for discussion, one for each of the following 12 weeks.  I will then prepare a lesson based on each of the topics, all lessons following the same format. First, there will be a reading on the topic.  This will be followed by questions on the reading, as well as by questions in general on the topic. Next, we will study idioms based on the topic, and last we will focus on one grammar point each week.  Lesson materials will be given one week prior to each class so that students can prepare.
