089Afliated Institutions 教育研究機関 Wellness Research Center ウェルネス・リサーチセンターThe Wellness Research Center was established in 2004 at the TamaCampus as an afliated research facility of Kokushikan University. Its research missionis to reduce the time elderly people have to spend in nursing care to as closetozeroaspossible,anditconductscomprehensiveresearchactivitiesto achieve thisgoal.Themainresearch projectscurrentlyunder-wayatthe Center include the following:● Methods for promoting the physical tness of the elderly and preventing oralleviating lifestyle-related illnesses● Developmentofprogramstoaidtheelderlyindevelopinggood exercise habits in order to prevent physical decline● Analysis of the effectiveness of various sports and training regimens● Researchonemergencymedicaltechniquesandcardiovascu-lar resuscitation for the elderly● Activities supporting sports events for the elderlyFromthedata amassed in the course ofthese research activi- ties,thecenter is developingdevicesto assist in shortening nursing-hometime forthe elderly, developing new educational techniques, and training instructors andadministrators.Inaddi-tion,itismakingtheresultsofitsresearchpublic,and providing a venue for advanced research and practice in this eld.ウェルネス・リサーチセンターは、本ほん学がく附ふ置ち研けん究きゅう所じょとして多た摩まキャンパスに 2004年ねんに設せっ置ちされました。高こう齢れい者しゃの介かい護ご期き間かんを限かぎりなくゼロに近ちかづけることを研けん究きゅう目もく的てきとし、そのための総そう合ごう的てき研けん究きゅう活かつ動どうを行おこなっています。現げん在ざいの主おもな研けん究きゅうと活かつ動どうは以い下かのとおりです。● 高こう齢れい者しゃの体たい力りょく増ぞう進しんせいかつと生活習慣病の予よ防ぼう・改かい善ぜんの方ほう法ほう● 高こう齢れい者しゃの体たい力りょく低てい下か防ぼう止しのための運うん動どう習しゅう慣かんしゅうびょう育いく成せいプログラムの開かい発はつ● 各かく種しゅスポーツ・トレーニング効こう果かの分ぶん析せき● 高こう齢れい者しゃ救きゅう急きゅう医い療りょう・心しん肺ぱい蘇そ生せい法ほう研けん究きゅう● 高こう齢れい者しゃスポーツイベント救きゅう援えん活かつ動どう以い上じょうの研けん究きゅう活かつ動どうで得えられたデータから、高こう齢れい者しゃ介かい護ご期き間かん短たん縮しゅくのための機き器きの開かい発はつ、教きょう育いく方ほう法ほう開かい発はつ、指し導どう者しゃ及および運うん営えい者しゃの育いく成せいを実じっ施しするとともに、研けん究きゅう成せい果かをオープンにし、高こう度どな研けん究きゅう実じっ践せん活かつ動どうの場ばを提てい供きょうします。Research institute of Disaster management and Emergency medical system防ぼう災さい・救きゅう急きゅう救きゅう助じょ総そう合ごう研けん究きゅう所じょNatural disasters have occurred frequently in many parts of the country and we have seen a growing need for the development of human resources capable of contributing to the spread of correct knowledge about disasters and regional activities for disaster control. This laboratory was established to develop humanresources with a high level of expertise in disaster control and emergency rescuewho are capable of leading companies and communities in disaster control.Seeing the enormous damage wreaked by the Great East Japan Earthquakeon March 11, 2011 led us to start an activity to support the disaster-affected areas the following day. Through involvement in this activity, we grew aware of the need to develop disaster literacy and provide disaster education to students and pupils in and outside the university. Also, we engage in emergency rescue courses and activities and support emergency medical care in developing countries.各かく地ちで自し然ぜん災さい害がいが多た発はつし、災さい害がいに関かかわる正ただしい知ち識しきの普ふ及きゅうと地ち域いき防ぼう災さいに貢こう献けんできる人じん材ざいの育いく成せいが求もとめられています。当とう研けん究きゅう所じょは防ぼう災さいや救きゅう急きゅう救きゅう助じょの高たかい専せん門もん知ち識しきを持もち、企き業ぎょうや地ち域いきの防ぼう災さいリーダーとして活かつ躍やくできる人じん材ざいを養よう成せいする目もく的てきで設せつ立りつされました。2011年ねん３月がつ11日にちに東ひがし日に本ほん大だい震しん災さいが発はっ生せいし、甚じん大だいな被ひ害がいを目まの当あたりにして、３月がつ12日にちから被ひ災さい地ち支し援えんの活かつ動どうを開かい始ししました。その活かつ動どうを通つうじて、防ぼう災さいリテラシーを身みにつける必ひつ要よう性せいを認にん識しきし、学がく内ない外がいの学がく生せい・生せい徒と・児じ童どうに防ぼう災さい教きょう育いくを行おこなっています。また、救きゅう急きゅう救きゅう命めいにかかわる講こう習しゅう、救きゅう援えん活かつ動どうに加くわえ、開かい発はつ途と上じょう国こくの救きゅう急きゅう医い療りょうにかかわる支し援えん活かつ動どうも行おこなっています。
