The curriculum emphasizes the history, thought, and culture of China and also covers the surrounding regions, such as the Korean peninsula and north Asia, that have recently become the focus of increasing historical and cultural interest, cultivating the ability to pose historical questions in a broader context. Beginning in the freshman year students learn how to read the classical Chinese indispensable to the interpretation of historical documents and participates in eld trips to historical sites. Graduates go on to a broad range of careers in teaching, government, business, and library science.東とう洋よう史しを幅はば広ひろく学まなぶ本ほんコースでは、特とくに中ちゅう国ごく史しに重じゅう点てんを置おき、殷いん代だいから現げん代だいまでの中ちゅう国ごくの時じ代だいについ専せん門もんの教きょう授じゅが科か目もくを多た数すう開かい講こうしています。中ちゅう国ごくの歴れき史し、思し想そう、文ぶん化かを中ちゅう心しんに、近きん年ねん注ちゅう目もくが高たかまって朝ちょう鮮せん半はん島とうや北きたアジアなどの周しゅう辺へん地ち域いきについても学まなび、広ひろい視し野やから歴れき史しならびに文ぶん化かに対たいする問もん題だい意い識しきを養やしなっていきます。1年ねん次じから史し料りょうの読どっ解かいに欠かか漢かん文ぶん文ぶん献けんの講こう読どくに取とり組くんだり、研けん修しゅうで史し跡せき巡めぐりも行おこないます。進しん路ろは教きょう員いん、公こう務む員いんから企き業ぎょうまで幅はば広ひろく、資し格かく取しゅ得とくで教きょう員いん以い外がいにも図と書しょ館かん司し書しょの道みちも拓ひらけます。＊1=Freshman, 2=Sophomore, 3=Junior, 4=Senior て、いるせない漢
