On February 1, 2010, the Japan Credit Rating Agency, Ltd. (JCR) awarded the Educational Foundation of Kokushikan a new long-term senior debts rating of AA- (double A minus), together with a rating outlook Stable.
The AA- rating is second from top on a 10-point rating scale, and indicates an exceptionally high level of reliability in meeting debt obligations.
As a comprehensive academic institution which will celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2017, Kokushikan will continue to uphold its founding principles and work earnestly to achieve qualitative improvements in education and research and to make a positive contribution to wider society.
