On January 31, the International Center hosted a completion ceremony on the Setagaya Campus for international students heading home after one year of study on exchange at Kokushikan. 23 exchange students from eight countries attended, and each was presented with a certificate of completion by President Katsuhiko Wakabayashi.

President Wakabayashi reiterated Kokushikan's founding ideals, and told the students that "I hope you will make use of your experiences here in your endeavors after graduation."

Reluctant to part company so soon, the students made the most of their last moments at Kokushikan even after the ceremony ended.
