Features of the School We aim at practical, experiential education on Asia at our cam-pus.We train talented individuals to understand the 21st-century Asia and to catch up global job opportunities.アジアをキャンパスに、「体感的・実践的」教育を目指す。21世紀のアジアを読み解き、新たな就業機会に挑戦する人材を育成。ちょうせんあらしゅうぎょうきかい To deepen mutual understanding with other Asian societies. A new school, transcending conventional frameworks to respond to the globalising Asia. Kokushikan University has long been looking at other Asian societies as important partners to cooperate with ever since it was founded, with the spirit of mutual understanding, co- existence and cultural relativism. School of Asia 21 was es- tablished in 2002 with its view toward embodying this founding spirit in a contemporary context, based on a new concept of education away from the traditional faculty. The goal of the School is to expand students’ capacity for understanding different cultures and foster individual talents able to transcend the limits of their societies and play important roles in a global society. The School of Asia 21 has a good deal of international students enrolled each year, with international instructors making up 15% of the faculty. For international students, there provided small-class Japanese language instructions with various prociency levels, as well as a course designed to foster fu-ture Japanese language instructors. Comprehen-sive programs introduc-ing contemporary Ja-pan, and opportunities to interact with local community are also available to interna-tional students.We aim at practical, experiential education with Asia as our campus.We train talented individuals to understand the 21st-century Asia and to catch up global job opportunities.In the School of Asia 21, the rst year is spent building overall un-derstanding of contemporary Asian societies, while in the second year students select one of the three specialized courses of study: the Asia Exchange course, the Asia Business course, or the Asia Inquiry course. The School places an emphasis on pragmatic dis-ciplines, and its educational methods are completely untraditional. In order to enhance our unique education, a variety of fieldwork, internship training programs in Japan and overseas, and volunteer work are duly integrated into the curriculum. Learning does not take place only in the classroom. Our students visit other countries, and gain direct, personal, hands-on feeling of Asia’s dynamism, to learn the actual realities of politics, economics, and cultures on the streets. The School of Asia 21 trains individuals who can be active in any type of public institutions, from international organiza-tions to local governments; people equipped with acute business sense; people good at cultural exchange.アジア諸しょこく国との真しんの相そうご互理りかい解を深ふかめるために。時じだい代の要ようせい請に対たいおう応した、既きぞん存の枠わくぐ組みを超こえた新あたらしい学がくぶ部。国こくし士舘かん大だいがく学は創そうせつ設当とうじ時から、日にほん本の伝でんとう統を尊そんちょう重しつつ、アジアと共きょうぞん存することに注ちゅうりょく力してきました。建けんがく学の精せいしん神を今いまに生いかすという観かんてん点から、2002年ねんに新しんせつ設されたのが、今いままでの学がくぶ部イメージとは異ことなる新あたらしいコンセプトを持もった「21世せいき紀アジア学がくぶ部」です。本ほんがくぶ学部の目もくひょう標は学がくせい生の異いぶんか文化に対たいする理りかいりょく解力を高たかめ、グローバルな環かんきょう境の中なかで、それぞれの社しゃかい会の枠わくを越こえて重じゅうよう要な役やくわり割を担になうことのできる人じんざい材を養ようせい成していくことです。21 世せいき紀 アジア学がくぶ部には約やく300 名めいの留りゅうがくせい学生が在ざいせき籍し、専せんにんきょういん任教員の約やく15％が外がいこくじん国人教きょういん員です。留りゅうがくせい学生のために少しょうにんずう人数・能のうりょく力別べつの日にほんご本語教きょういく育を行おこない、将しょうらい来日にほんご本語教きょうし師になる方かたがた々のための日にほんご本語教きょうし師養ようせい成課かてい程もあります。留りゅうがくせい学生を対たいしょう象に日にほん本事じじょう情理りかい解科かもく目や地ちいき域社しゃかい会との交こうりゅう流を行おこなう日にほん本研けんしゅう修科かもく目を設せってい定しています。アジアをキャンパスに、「体たいかんてき感的・実じっせんてき践的」教きょういく育を目めざ指す。21世せいき紀のアジアを読よみ解とき、新あらたな就しゅうぎょうきかい業機会に挑ちょうせん戦する人じんざい材を育いくせい成。21 世せいき紀アジア学がくぶ部は、1年ねんじ次で21 世せいき紀のアジアを理りかい解する土どだい台を作つくり、2 年ねんじ次から三みっつのコース（交こうりゅう流アジアコース・アジアビジネスコース・アジア探たんきゅう究コース）に分わかれて専せんもん門科かもく目を学まなびます。リアリティある教きょういく育を重じゅうし視する本ほんがくぶ学部では、教きょういく育方ほうほう法も従じゅうらい来とはまったく違ちがいます。「体たいかんてき感的・実じっせんてき践的」教きょういく育を目めざ指し、さまざまなフィールドワークやインターンシップ、国こくないがい内外の研けんしゅう修、ボランティアなどを積せっきょくてき極的に取とり入いれています。教きょうしつ室の中なかだけで学まなぶのではなく、世せかい界各かっこく国に出でかけ、五ごかん感を使つかって、身からだ体を使つかって、躍やくどう動するアジアに直じかに触ふれ、路ろじ地裏うらから生いきた政せいじ治・経けいざい済や文ぶんか化を学まなびます。国こくさい際機きかん関から地ちほう方自じちたい治体にいたる公こうきょう共機きかん関の諸しょぶんや分野で活かつやく躍できる人じんざい材、ビジネス感かんかく覚を備そなえた人じんざい材、文ぶんか化交こうりゅう流などの面めんにも通つうじる人じんざい材を育いくせい成します。
