200200canunderstoodopportunitiesA flexible curriculum enables study in fields of interest beyond the student’s academic major. With some 200 inter-national students enrolled, the Faculty has a strong interna-tional character. The Faculty of Political Science and Economics is comprised of two departments: the Department of Political Science and the Department of Economics. The semester system introduced in the 2002 academic year, has made it possible to create a high-ly specialized course of study. And in 2008, both departments provided a new system in which all students in this Faculty have a choice of attending classes from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. freely, responding to the needs of student’s diverse lifestyles. In addition, a exible curriculum makes it possible to take up to 60 credits in other facul-ties or departments, allowing study in elds of interest oth-er than the student’s major. And 200 international stu-dents are currently enrolled in the Faculty of Political Science and Economics, giving it the strong interna-tional atmosphere that is one of its most salient features.
