The southern and western sides areentirely covered by high-transmittance glass, so the inside of the building is lightand spacious. Power is generated by solar-heated water tanks and photovoltaicpanels installed on the roof so as to save energy. Solar power is also used, amongother things, for the heated swimming pool, floor heating, and showers.Furthermore, in order to reduce energy consumption, a water-saving circulationmethod is employed especially for the heated swimming pool. Pump power iscontrolled by circulating surplus water for use and adjusting filtering capacityaccording to the number of users there are.
