Student Life

The Kokushikan Overseas Students Brotherhood is a fraternal organization of international students enrolled at Kokushikan University, who become members upon enrollment. KOSB sponsors a variety of extracurricular activities and annual events aimed at developing friendships among the international student community,and provides students with mutual assistance and support in achieving their academic goals. In addition, through contact with the Japanese student population and the community at large, KOSB hopes to further the progress of international communication and understanding. The Kokushikan Overseas Students Brotherhood was founded in 1987, and since then it has played a noteworthy role at the university. The present chairman is the 21th since KOSB was created. KOSB has participated in student festivals and introduced traditional dancing and food of their native countries.
