Institute of Management and Accounting

The goal of the Institute is to contribute to the advancement of educational and research activities at the university by conducting programs in the following areas:

  1. Research and reports concerning business administration, accounting, and information management
  2. Publication of research journals, bulletins, and the like
  3. Sponsorship of research conferences, lectures, etc.
  4. Provision of coursework and practical training for Kokushikan students and staff and auditors from other organizations
  5. Commissioned survey and research work concerning business administration, accounting, and information management
  6. Provision and maintenance of research materials and equipment
  7. Other programs as the need is recognized

Primary responsibility for the management of these programs is entrusted to an executive committee comprised of the Institute director and five other members, all of whom are elected by the general assembly of the Institute.
