The Asia-Japan Research Center has been investigating a wide range of sociocultural issues related to contemporary Asia. Its activities include workshops and symposia that encourage open exchanges between researchers who specialize in Asian Studies. The Center initiates activities that may increase awareness and proposes policies oriented towards mutual understanding and coexistence in the Asian region.
