Graduate Schools
The Graduate School of Globalising Asia develops a comprehensive, advanced vision and perspective focused on the Asian region by an interdisciplinary fusion of economics, business administration, history, international relations, language training, cultural studies, archaeology, and cultural policy studies. At the juncture of "global" and "local" in Asia today, we do a serious search into a new approach, and rethink what "international standards" mean in the context of each locality. This School is a joint endeavour of the School of Asia 21, the Asia-Japan Research Center, and the Institute for Cultural Studies of Ancient Iraq, building upon and integrating their achievements in research and education in order to promote advanced research on Asia, and to nurture human capacities demanded by changing Asia.
