Graduate Schools
The Graduate School of Engineering has three master's programs, in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Civil and Architectural Engineering, and a doctoral program in Applied Systems Engineering that integrates these programs. In every field of engineering, research is becoming more advanced, requiring deeper academic knowledge and specialized technology and skills. The Graduate School aims to foster creative engineers and researchers with a strong academic foundation and outstanding abilities in application and development. Many international students have been enrolled in its programs, acquiring Japan's state-of-the-art scientific and technological skills. The Graduate School is striving to create an international environment that can welcome increasing number of international students.
Produces mechanical engineers who have a solid basic academic grounding in their field and are adept at advanced practical development. Also nurtures superior, highly creative researchers.
Produces electrical and electronic engineers who have a solid basic academic grounding in their field and an ability to apply it to practical use. Also nurtures superior, highly creative researchers.
Fosters architectural engineers and researchers who possess high-level, specialized abilities that enable them to deal correctly with the issues they confront while giving consideration to the harmonization of human society with the natural environment.
This is a Doctoral Course that builds on the three Programs offered in the Master’s Course. The aim is to cultivate engineers capable of comprehending problems over a wide range of fields beyond their major area of specialization.
