Graduate Schools
The 21st century is the age of global exchange of people and information. The Graduate School of Business Administration aims to foster human resources with the broad vision and knowledge needed to prevail in this new age and the ability to dynamically conceptualize new businesses and organizations with a flexible and rich imagination. Concepts from management are indispensable not only for business administration but also for the development of various organizations such as government and municipal offices, schools, and hospitals. The Graduate School of Business Administration conducts education and research in business organization, business strategy, business psychology, business history, business information, marketing, finance, accounting, and other related fields. The School's students include adults with work experience who are returning to university to refresh their education and students from Asia and other countries. Most of the international students aim to study Japanese management systems and many of them conduct comparative research on Japan and their own country for their master's thesis. Since comparative studies require deep understanding not only of the business aspects but also of the cultural and historical aspects that form their background, students from overseas are expected to gain multi-faceted comparative experiences of a different culture.
